Avery's First Birthday

A walk at the park with Chase

After lunch we went on a walk with Lisa and Chase. He was still asleep for the walk.

Avery's haircut

Avery got her bangs cut today. This is the second time she's had to have a haircut. Her bangs were getting in her eyes and we wanted her to look pretty for her birthday party. She sat nice and still on Nana's lap while her stylist, Pam, did the cut.

Lunch

We had lunch today at Top Food. Avery really liked the french fries, just like mommy. Look closely and you can see them all over her face. Chase joined us for lunch, he slept the whole time. Here are some pictures and a video.

Avery and Siena had a good time playing yesterday. It was a mellow day just hanging around the house and trying to stay cool.

Avery's first time in the swimming pool

Here are some pictures of Avery and Joey swimming at the pool near our rental house on Lake Tapps. It was Avery's first time and she seemed to enjoy the water. We have found that she does not like being in pools or the lake if it's too cold. She is becoming quite the little princess. Joey was an expert in the pool since he's had a lot of experience swimming around. Unlike the princess, he doesn't mind the water temperature.
